Dr Ali Taheri is a well-experienced GP with higher qualifications in Paediatrics and more than 30 years of medical experience. He first graduated in 1992 from Shiraz Medical School with an M.D. After four very busy years in Emergency Departments and GP clinics, he started training in Paediatrics and finished with a degree from the Iranian Board of Paediatrics in 2000. Thereafter, he worked as a Paediatrician and GP in two hospitals and his private clinic till 2012, when he moved to Australia.
He had two more years of training in Monash Health and Ramsey Health in Australia and then worked in a few Medical Clinics in regional and central Victoria before joining us. He got a Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017 and a course in Integrative Medicine at the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine.
He is well experienced in skin and other small procedures and IV infusions (eg Iron), does all adult chronic disease management and is very interested in rheumatological and autoimmune disorders.
He spends his extra time with his family and enjoys playing table tennis and going to the cinema.
